Program Details
Open Innovation is one of the key focus areas for the AXA Group and this role represents an excellent opportunity for the intern to work with the AXA Singapore innovation team on identifying new ideas that would bring about new business models to disrupt the insurance industry.
AXA being one of the largest insurers in Singapore, is committed to supporting SmartNation ambitions and the programme is an opportunity for the candidate to participate in related initiatives relevant to his field of study.
A glimpse of your daily mission:
Data & Innovation Community Management & PR:
- Prepare collateral templates (communication kit, newsletters etc.) to regularly showcase Data & Innovation projects delivered and to introduce new ideas
- Coordination of innovation networking events organized by AXA and AXA partners
- Generate insights through developing and running internal surveys on Innovation topics of interest
Exploration of Innovation ecosystem:
- Participate in innovation related events to develop understanding of Singapore innovation ecosystem and preparation of post event memos with summary and identified opportunities which can be shared with AXA Lab and other Group entities – key topics of interest in smart mobility, connected wellness, AI/Machine Learning, Blockchain and Smart Nation Initiatives
- Build AXA Singapore’s startup book with profiles of startups and identifying potential startups for proof of concept (“POC”) projects
- Support research projects that AXA Singapore is participating in the areas of the silver economy programme and autonomous vehicles
POC Support:
- Work on supporting the launch of POCs and startups partnerships with AXA Singapore Innovation Lead
- Develop marketing materials for POCs (e.g. Support the launch and marketing of a POC to increase visibility and usage by intermediaries/customers)
AXA Innovation Sandbox:
- Operational support for new product innovation within the AXA Innovation Sandbox environment – policy issuance, claims management
