Program Details
In your new role you will:
• Query data by writing SQL scripts based on given requirements and document useful SQL script with practical examples
• Perform ETL process for raw data using the ETL tool and maintain an organized data set for further analysis
• Monitor production KPIs and conduct in-depth analysis to identify issues using analytical tools (JMP, Excel, tableau, Qlik View and R)
• Analyse historical data using data mining techniques: EDA, data visualization, abnormal detection analysis
• Recommend a statistical model to improve and optimize material consuming process
• Join the data visualization project and support the development of a Web-based interactive dashboard using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Learning Outcome:
• Gain hands-on SQL code writing experience
• Gain exposure on actual manufacturing KPIs, data analysis and usage of analytic tools
• Develop an understanding of the back-end manufacturing process and its key functions
• Develop an understanding of and use the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
• Improve communication skills through sharing of analysis with other back-end manufacturing sites
• Learn documentation skills for training materials and data mining relating to material usage
Requirements
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
• Student pursuing bachelor’s degree in the field of Analytics
• Great interest in data analytics
• Academic or internship experience with Basic SQL programming language, Tableau and R programming is a value add
• Comfortable with dry data pre-processing work: data cleaning, data transformation
• This is a minimum 5 months internship opportunity
