Operations Executive (Commodities) Fulltime
【Responsibilities】
- Interact with commodities traders and assist in negotiations of both parties (seller and buyer) concerned.
- Preparation and monitor of L/C issuance; handling documentations, invoices and claims processes.
- Utilizing internal systems to initiate, monitor and process workflow approvals. Archival trade details and transaction flows.
- Ensure proper execution of trades (physical and paper)
- Preparation of reports

Risk Officer Fulltime
【Responsibilities】
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with our commodity trading activities. This role requires a deep understanding of the commodities market, strong analytical skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
- Risk Assessment: Analyze and evaluate risks related to commodity trading activities, including market, credit, and operational risks.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate identified risks. Monitor the company’s overall trading and hedging exposures.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor commodity trading activities to ensure that risk levels remain within acceptable limits. Ensure compliance with all risk management policies and regulatory requirements.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports to provide insights into current risk exposure and identify any deviations from established thresholds. Prepare and present comprehensive risk reports to senior management, highlighting potential risks and recommending effective mitigation strategies. Report risk management-related issues to the Group Headquarters in mainland China and provide regular updates.
- Procedure Development and Auditing: Develop, audit, and regularly review company procedures, practices, and documents to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of internal control measures and to identify possible weaknesses or risks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with traders, accountants, and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of risk factors and their potential impact.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with industry regulations and ensure the company's risk management practices adhere to all relevant laws and guidelines, including sanctions programs and anti-money laundering regulations.
【Requirements】
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) is preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and understanding of international trade and physical commodity trading (especially metals), including Incoterms, payment terms, price risk and hedging strategies and other risk mitigation measures for international trade.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in risk management within the commodity trading industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in risk assessment and risk management tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in both oral and written Chinese (for communication with senior management in mainland China) and English.
- Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions quickly.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
