BestTop CEO Tony recently held a sharing session at SUSS on Singapore’s work culture and job landscape on 6 August. During the session, he covered key topics such as the current employment landscape in Singapore, in-demand roles, the steps and considerations involved in applying for work visas, precautions to take when looking at contracts.
The students actively engaged in discussions, comparing the differences between work cultures in Singapore and China.
Sharing session for Ningbo delegation at NUS
On August 5, BestTop CEO Tony had the opportunity to give a short sharing session for Ningbo delegation — and it turned out to be a truly rewarding experience!
Engaging with this energetic group and hearing their unique insights and innovative ideas about the industry gave him a fresh perspective. The questions they raised during the session were thought-provoking and made him reflect on concepts that he thought he already understood well.
What stood out the most was their approach to localized innovation — it was eye-opening. Sometimes we think we are the ones doing the "sharing," but in reality, we often end up gaining more than we give.

In June, we had the pleasure of being invited to speak at an event jointly organised by the Chinese Scholars and Students Association in Singapore and the Bank of China.
Our session focused on key topics including resume writing, interview preparation, and current industry trends, with the goal of equipping overseas students to better navigate job search challenges and boost their professional competitiveness.

On May 26, we hosted an online webinar where students were invited to hear from a seasoned mentor with years of experience in Singapore’s HR and tech industries.
Drawing from his journey from a technical role to a leadership position at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, he shared insider insights into Singapore’s hiring landscape and practical advice for landing meaningful internships.
Spring Recruitment Sprint: Resume Optimization & AI Tools Practical Application
This event focused on mastering core job-hunting skills and featured a seasoned HR and career mentor from Singapore with 9 years of experience in human resources, consulting, transformation, and project management.
The session covered essential topics including unveiling the real logic behind HR resume screening, Singapore job market resume optimization strategies, leveraging ChatGPT and other AI tools to enhance job search efficiency, and practical resume case studies combined with mock interview techniques.
Financial Industry Sharing Session
In April, we had an closed-door sharing event featured industry professional sharing insights on personal background and career journeys, including transitions from engineering to finance and consulting with experience across banking, investments, and consulting firms.
The session provided comprehensive industry insights and career growth opportunities, covering investment banking, asset management, and consulting sectors, along with essential skills and future career prospects in these industries.
AI Summit - Future of Work
In March, we hosted the impactful AI Summit 2025 that explored the future of work and business through the lens of AI. We were honored to have Dr. Bert Grobben (Budding Innovation) lead an insightful online session on how emerging AI technologies are transforming job landscapes.
